Ask and ye shall receive!

When I started Iron Cupcake Earth, my goal was to bring cupcake lovers all over the world together with the fun of competition. By bringing a couple of my favorite sites into the fold, ETSY and FLICKR, I found a way to post the images, and an opportunity to get traffic to the artists of ETSY whose art I love, with a special attention to cupcakes, of course.

I did not immediately think of soliciting prize donations from established corporations until I came across a picture of blogger Natalie of Bake & Destroy wearing one of her incredibly dreamy Jessie Steele aprons. Then it hit me...maybe some of these specialty companies would want to reach out to the IronCupcake world. Sure enough, they did!

I am soooooo pleased to announce that JESSIE STEELE FINE HOSTESS APRONS has agreed to provide an apron to each winner from now until this time next year. That means 12 Iron Cupcakers will be sporting THE fashion accessory of home entertainers all over the world.

No sooner did I think of the aprons did it dawn on me that another coveted item to the cupcake set would, no doubt, be the Cupcake Courier. How cool would it be if BOTH of these companies would be willing to participate? No sooner did I ask, did I hear from their marketing manager. YES, they wanted to take part as well! Again, for an entire year.

Generosity is overwhelming. Stay tuned, you never know which company could be next. Soon enough, the whole world will know what we already do. Cupcakers are a sweet bunch, with great taste and devoted to their craft!
