IronCupcake - Year Two

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all having a terrific summer.

With the announcement of the July challenge, it is hard to believe that IronCupcake:Earth is 1 year old. In some ways it feels like we have all been doing this forever, and in other ways it seems like just yesterday that the first cupcaker signed up. We are now approaching 400 bakers from 26 different countries. WOW! That is a lot of folks to talk to, post with and get awesome ideas from.

The first IronCupcake:Earth cookbook is in its early planning stages, and I will keep you posted as things progress. After our July challenge, IC will be taking a brief hiatus while we seek new corporate sponsors. We were very lucky to have had so many corporate participants for year one. If you know of any products or corporations that would like to get involved, please have them email me. Also, if you LOVE IronCupcake as much as I do, please pop over to the blog and donate to help keep the sweets coming. This is a completely voluntary operation that has become nearly a full-time job. Any little bit helps.
